Paul also reminds Timothy of the qualifications required for pastoral ministry.
An overseer (elder/pastor) must be faithful in teaching sound doctrine, courageous in refuting false teaching, an example of godliness to the believers, diligent in the work, and ready to endure suffering for the sake of the Gospel (2 Tim. 2:3; 2 Tim. 4:5).
The authority of an overseer does not come from himself but from his faithfulness to Christ, the Good Shepherd (1 Pet. 5:4), to whom the flock truly belongs.
"It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do. An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, skillful in teaching, not overindulging in wine, not a bully, but gentle, not contentious, free from the love of money. He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity (but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?), and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into condemnation incurred by the devil. And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church, so that he will not fall into disgrace and the snare of the devil."
1 Timothy 3:1-7

We are a French family of five living on Koh Samui, Thailand, where God has faithfully guided us.
Our walk with the Lord began with our conversion in Kuala Lumpur in January 2011 and baptism on Koh Samui the following month, where we also joined our first mission trip.
Over the years, we have lived in France, Spain, Malaysia, Thailand, and Reunion Island, and our home has become a place of prayer, teaching, and fellowship, reflecting our heart for cross-cultural mission and unity in the Body of Christ.

Throughout the years, the Lord has led Karim and his wife through seasons of study and preparation. (1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Pet. 5:1-4)

Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.)

These years have strengthened our biblical foundation and deepened our calling to serve the nations.

In June 2024, God called us back to Koh Samui, the very place where our faith journey began.
After a time of prayer and discipleship, we established a home church for one year that grew into Gospel for the Nations Church, officially launched in August 2025.
Our mission is simple: to bring the body of Christ together and share the Gospel across cultures.
We continue to serve, equip, and proclaim Christ faithfully, all for His glory.
